oh, how time flies when you've been sick!

OH! how time passes!

my last post was right before I went to the homeland of the Lucero family- New Mexico! When my family came over from Spain, they landed there and it's one of the most beautiful places one could ever be. I'm really glad that my tía lives there and welcomed me with beyond open arms! Along with Frankenstein (pug) and Henry-etta (cat).

Within hours of getting back from New Mexico a respiratory infection had taken over and basically took four weeks of life out of me. I had only missed one day of work, near the tail end of the infection because I was SO wiped out. That was my October, in a nut shell.

November has been very busy so far. I'm on various committees at work, a Veterans committee being one of them and the meetings, events, and classes kept me busy with nearly 14 hour days every day. Between all these things, my respiratory infection still plagues me because my muscles beneath my rib cage were strained and pulled... oh my goodness that had hurt. THEN, the aching on the right side has persisted and had found out yesterday that I'll need to get more x-rays to find out how bad the cracks in my ribs can be, or if they're just fractured.

Being sick is frustrating, especially when you eat extremely well, take vitamins, and work out (well, the working out hasn't been much the past 7 weeks due to coughing, not being able to breathe, and other gross things).

but I've been praying and hoping you all have been well in the in between time!
